Here is a little bit about me
I am currently a senior at Penn State Behrend majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology.
My Interest in Electronics and how they work started before I can remember which lead me down the path I am on now. I have experience in microcontrollers, and Control Systems (PLCs and HMIs), as well as their respective programming languages. In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors and socializing with my friends as much as I can.

In the past before college/ work took up a majority of my time I was involved with Boy Scouts, completing the highest rank of Eagle scout. Along this journey I have amassed over 200 hours of community service by volunteering at our local churches via food drives, festivals, and other events to better the community

A quote I have strived to live by as I am transitioning from academia into the professional workforce
My Experience
Classroom
Basic knowledge of different control systems. Including: PLCs, Microcontrollers, DAQ devices, Motors, Circuit analysis, Circuit Design. Through these respective courses I have been able to advance my career goals and apply the skills I have learned in the workplace (see below)
Professional
Industry has narrowed my scope on systems to PLCs and HMIs. My experience in these fields are a majority in Allen Bradley products and their programming software, however is actively expanding into Siemens hardware and software.
Personal
Side projects and “cool” gadgets around the house are always a good way to dig into figuring out how to design and get a system running without guidance. Some projects I have engaged in are mainly disassembling, repairing, and reassembling existing devices. A project I have worked on from scratch is an automated plant watering system; including research design and implantation.
Current Projects
My latest project through work and school is creating/designing a program for a Siemens PLC through TIA Portal, which is Siemens version of PLC ladder logic software, which will simulate an ingredient batching system that can be used in industry. Shown below is a picture of the current hardware I am working with as well as a couple drawing schematics. I can’t go into many details about how the project works (ie coding and routines) due to contractual/legal agreements
